"Kara" is a comedy film from the United Kingdom in the micro short category starringDaniel Blacker, Philip Kingsley-Elton and Laurence Inman. Director Paul Griffin did a great job of illustrating an awkward conversation between two men that seems to get stranger by the minute. In four minutes, Paul manages to capture the essence of dry "British Humor" that is lively enough to impress the HCFF 2017 Judges, which are mostly American. Catch this movie at the Houston Comedy Film Festival: Spring 2017 at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema - Mason Park on Saturday April 8th, 2017. Tagline: "Dan arranges to meet Tony in a local pub. He wants to explain to Tony that he has discovered that Tony's new girlfriend, Kara, does work in TV but he "accidentally" discovered that she works on a late night phone in adult channel called Babe-Lair. Tony is miffed that Dan hasn't responded to his earlier message which was merely a simple act of "Braining" which is the new craze which Dan is neither aware of nor wants to be a part of."
